There were squeals of delight in Clarisford Park on Saturday 28th June as the Lough Derg FC Fundraiser kicked off with pigs racing at top speed alongside penalty shootouts against an Ireland goalkeeper and record numbers of kids going for a world recordon a bouncy castl

BORUMAN Sprint Triathlon

The BORUMAN 1000yrs Sprint Triathlon was set right at the heart of the home of the original BORUMAN, the High King of Ireland Brian Boru at Clarisford Park, Killaloe on Saturday 14th June.

Over 200 athletes participated in a 750m canal swim, transitioning into a 20km fast, flat sprint cycle and finally a 5km run in Killaloe itself with an epic finish in Clarisford Park.

National Tree Week @Clarisford Park

To celebrate National Tree Week (2nd – 8th of March), Clarisford Park will be hosting an open day on Sunday the 2nd of March. With something for everyone from tree planting, tree and bud walks and biodiversity trails to woodland storytelling & plenty more, this will be a fantastic opportunity to pack a picnic and spend the day in the great outdoors.
